LaGuardia Airport is a major hub for New York City, serving as the city's main airport. The airport is located in the Queens borough of New York City, about eight miles from Midtown Manhattan. With more than 35 million passengers a year, LaGuardia is one of the busiest airports in the world.

The airport has two terminals: Terminal B, which serves Delta Air Lines and JetBlue Airways; and Terminal A, which serves American Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa Airlines, Finnair, Iberia Airlines, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Singapore Airlines. The two terminals are connected by a pedestrian bridge.

LaGuardia Airport was opened on February 11, 1939 as Idlewild Airport. It was renamed LaGuardia Airport on January 15, 1946 in honor of former New York City Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia. The original terminal building was destroyed by a fire on January 5, 1955. The current terminal building was completed in December 1956 and opened to the public on January 18, 1957.

The Newark Liberty International Airport is the largest airport in New Jersey and the 11th-largest in the United States, serving over 25 million passengers annually. The airport is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Midtown Manhattan and offers direct flights to more than 60 destinations in North America.

The airport was originally built as an airfield for the U.S. Army during World War II and was later acquired by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 1947. In 2001, it underwent a $1 billion renovation that included the construction of a new passenger terminal, apron expansion and reconstruction of runways. In addition, the airport received a new FAA control tower and expanded parking facilities.

Newark Liberty International Airport is served by several major airlines including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways and Southwest Airlines. The airport is also popular among low-cost carriers such as Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines and SkyWest Airlines.
